Alma Light is a Barcelona-based decorative lighting company founded in 1989 by the Cubiñá family under the name Hustadt Iluminación, which in 2003 made the leap from distributor to manufacturer with its own brand. Since then, every product carries the Made in Barcelona seal: designed and manufactured in the city with a decidedly Mediterranean spirit, championing local designers, noble materials and an artisanal production process that cares for every detail. The result is a collection that combines contemporary design, formal elegance and a warmth rooted in Catalan culture — luminaires with their own character, capable of generating positive emotions in any space, from a bespoke residence to a hotel or restaurant.

Alma Light's catalogue includes some of the most recognisable collections in Spanish lighting design. Drop, designed by Cristian Cubiñá, is the brand's most iconic piece: a pendant with drop-shaped shades in blown transparent borosilicate glass and a chrome structure, creating sculptural compositions with a strong presence in dining rooms, kitchens and hospitality spaces. Tribeca, by Jordi Llopis, is a family of elegant luminaires unified by their spherical shade in natural alabaster, with its unmistakable white and grey veining that glows spectacularly when lit. Capitone, another collection by Cristian Cubiñá, is defined by its distinctive quilted design that brings warmth and personality to any room.
