Delta Light is a Belgian architectural lighting company founded in 1989 in Roeselare (Belgium) by Paul Ameloot, an entrepreneur who came to lighting from the world of hi-fi: his store Stereo House began responding to growing demand for lighting in nightclubs, and that observation gave rise to the brand's first luminaire, the Phantom. Today Delta Light is present in more than 120 countries with showrooms and offices in Milan, London, Paris, New York, Miami, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Dubai. The second generation of the family — Peter and Jan Ameloot — now leads the company, maintaining the proud identity of a Belgian family business.
Since 1993, Delta Light has published the Lighting Bible, a biennial reference catalogue that has become a trend guide for lighting professionals worldwide. Its philosophy is straightforward: all production — design, development, prototyping, manufacturing and storage — takes place at its headquarters in Wevelgem (Belgium), ensuring full control over every process and the quality of the final product. With more than 660 product categories and thousands of variants, Delta Light covers everything from recessed downlights and track spotlights to outdoor lighting and signature lighting objects, always with technical discretion and optical precision as its hallmarks.
At Insmat Caldes we carry a selection of Delta Light including the Husk collection (pendant with discreet elegance, somewhere between architectural accent and decorative statement), Metronome (its own character, related to Husk) and the recessed circular ceiling luminaire Pitch (available in Ø163, 260 and 450 mm, lacquered aluminium structure, integrated LED). We are official Delta Light distributors in Barcelona and offer advice for residential, contract and architecture projects.
