Pott Project: handcrafted ceramic lamps from Totana (Murcia) | Insmat Caldes

Pott Project is a Spanish artisanal lighting brand founded by Miguel Ángel García Belmonte in Totana (Murcia), a town with one of Spain's most diverse pottery traditions, with ceramic workshops passed down from generation to generation since the 18th century. Pott Project's philosophy starts with a challenge: bringing artisanal ceramics into the world of contemporary lighting, combining the knowledge of potters with the language of industrial design. Each piece is made by hand, one by one, in its own workshop, making every luminaire a unique object where imperfection is part of the value and identity of the brand.

Pott Project collaborates with leading designers: Luis Eslava (Nais, a rechargeable portable ceramic lamp conceived as a "companion in the dark"), Martín Azúa (Okina), Isaac Piñeiro (Totana, a collection paying tribute to the brand's hometown) and Altherr Désile Park (Terra, a wall lamp with three artisanal textures and five earth tones). García Belmonte himself signs collections including Flame, Caló, Candela and Bézier. The colours and textures of all collections draw inspiration from the Mediterranean landscape: clay, light, shadow, sea and forest.

At Insmat Caldes, official Pott Project distributors in Barcelona, we carry the Flame collection with personalised advice for residential and contract projects. Showroom: Avinguda Josep Fontcuberta 134, Caldes de Montbui (Barcelona). Contact: info@insmatcaldes.com.
